Rick and Kaleem trade laughs with Liam Martin, co-organizer of Running Remote, the world's largest remote work conference. Liam is also co-founder of Time Doctor, a time tracking and productivity software for businesses and individuals.

One of the golden nuggets of this episode is Liam's knowledge surrounding the bureaucracy of remote work. He is able to explain it in a way that dissolves the "big brother" aspect of compliance. Intimidating tactics such as screen monitoring, time tracking, and other types of critical documentation may seem over the top, but are both necessary and required by law. Unbeknownst to them, the majority of remote workers today are operating in non-compliant work spaces. Pay close attention to Liam's story about the person who broke their collarbone while working from home, and was able to sue their employer for unsafe working conditions. Sounds crazy, but it's the world we now live in.

Look for Liam at this year's Running Remote in Montreal May 17th - 18th. Thanks for hanging with us today, Liam!
